WHAT KIND OF EXPERIENCE DO YOU HAVE IN THIS INDUSTRY?

For over 30 years, 3D Industries has been manufacturing custom technical clothing, luggage, sportswear, and accessories for top brands worldwide. Established in 1983 and headquartered in Lake Forest, Ca. 3D Industries is a leader for custom clothing manufacturing services specializing in overseas production. We manufacture products to our buyers’ exact specifications and requirements.

WHERE ARE YOU LOCATED?

3D Industries operates from its offices in Lake Forest, California. Our design studio is at the heart of our offices and team meeting area. Our facility also features logistic operations, administrative offices, warehouse storage, and meeting rooms. We have our own offices in Jiangsu Province, China, with support staff to keep a watchful eye on production and maintain our high standards overseas.

DO YOU MANUFACTURE DOMESTICALLY (MADE IN THE USA)?

No, although our head office is located in the USA, all manufacturing is done in our overseas factories, then imported and delivered to your door.

WHAT DO I NEED TO PROVIDE YOU, TO GET STARTED WITH 3D INDUSTRIES?

First and foremost we are a private-label manufacture, i.e. we make products to your specifications and with your direction. Ideally, you will send us your samples, we will ask you some questions (see our inquiry form) and we will quote you a price. If you don’t have a perfect sample, you can send us a “similar” samples or several samples which we can reference for your design, materials, fit etc. If you don’t have samples, then you can send us your tech packs, sketches, photos, measurements etc.

ARE YOUR PRICES COMPETITIVE?

If you are “price shopping” your product around town, you will find that we are not going to give you the cheapest price, but neither are we going to be the most expensive. Sometimes customers tell us they found a cheaper price online or will some “factory direct”. It’s true, you will find those, but please don’t compare us with these examples. We are a FULL SERVICE professional USA corporation that will handle your production needs from initial design/sample, through to delivery to your door. If you factor in the cost of visiting the factory, handling QA/QC matters, shipping, handling US customs & trucking etc., you will probably be very happy with our quotation and service….after being in business over 30 years servicing some of the largest brands in the industry we must be doing something right!

WHAT PRODUCTS CAN YOU MAKE AND WHAT PRODUCTS CAN’T YOU MAKE?

We specialize in manufacturing “soft goods”. This includes apparel (not children’s items), bags, hats, gloves, socks, covers etc. If it can be sewn, we can probably make it. We generally can’t make “hard goods”. This includes metal or plastic products or those that require a mold.

WHAT ARE THE MINIMUM QUANTITIES PER STYLE I CAN ORDER?

In the world of manufacturing, especially custom products, minimum quantity will depend on several factors including materials/trim required, factory production set up etc, etc. We have a section on your website called our 100+ program. This is restricted to only those categories shown there. For all other products, minimum quantity required will be determined by your inquiry and can range from 200-1000pcs per style, per color.

IF I APPROVE YOUR QUOTATION AND WISH TO PROCEED, HOW LONG WILL IT TAKE BEFORE I RECEIVE THE PROTO SAMPLE?

It depends on many factors such as the complexity of your product and availability of materials etc. But usually the samples are made using available (similar) materials, so we can start the ball rolling. This usually will take 3-4 weeks.

UPON APPROVING THE PROTO SAMPLE, HOW LONG WILL MY PRODUCTION ORDER TAKE TO ARRIVE?

This depends on your order quantity and complexity of the product. For example 200pcs of hats may take 6 weeks, while 1000pcs of a waterproof/breathable parka may take 100 days+.

WHO HANDLES QC (QUALITY CONTROL)?

We do! We take responsibility to deliver to you product that is to the standard with the samples that you approved and give us direction on how to proceed. We have a team that handles all quality assurance and quality control matters in accordance with our agreed Term & Conditions here.
